
Camp Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an organized, people-oriented Camp Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of our surf camp. You’ll be the central point of coordination between guests, team members, and management — making sure everything runs efficiently while maintaining a welcoming, high-quality camp atmosphere.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving, and leading a team in a dynamic, international environment.
What you'll Do:

Oversee daily camp operations and ensure smooth workflows

Coordinate and support all departments (kitchen, surf, housekeeping, activities, logistics)

Be the main point of contact for guests and handle questions or issues professionally

Manage staff schedules, task planning, and daily briefings

Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest experience

Support onboarding and coordination of seasonal staff

Handle operational challenges calmly and solution-oriented

Work closely with the founders to implement processes and improve camp operations
Your skills

Experience in hospitality, tourism, or camp management

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Accommodation:
You’ll live right in the heart of camp life in a Quechua tent within the staff area. Your setup includes a proper mattress with bed frame, pillow, blanket, bedding, and everything you need to feel at home.
Meals:
All daily meals are provided, including breakfast, lunch, and a freshly prepared dinner by our kitchen team. Dinner is served every day. On our city trip day, dinner is not provided, but you’re welcome to prepare something for yourself.
Surf Equipment:
You’ll have access to high-quality surfboards and wetsuits for personal use, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the waves at our beach — just a 5-minute walk from camp.
Yoga Sessions:
If space is available, you’re welcome to join our daily yoga classes free of charge by signing up when spots are open.
Workshops:
Team members are invited to join our surf theory sessions led by the instructors, as well as other creative workshops such as crafts, painting, and more.
Time Off:
You’ll receive one day off per week — perfect for exploring the beauty of the area or simply relaxing and recharging.
Work Hours:
You’ll work around 6 hours per day. On Saturdays, we have our changeover day — a dynamic team day where everyone helps with different tasks around the camp. It’s all about teamwork, good energy, and getting the camp ready for a new group of guests.
